TIS (Technical Information System / Technisches Informations-System) is the Electronic Workshop Manual used by BMW technicians to service Your car. It contains step by step instructions on repairing, servicing and maintaining Your BMW vehicle. It is the same identical tool that official BMW technicians use every day to service and repair BMW automobiles anywhere in the world. This software contains all updates and service information (SI) from BMW about all their models. If a change is made to something in the vehicle, it gets documented in the TIS. Recalls and service bulletins are also gathered here. The ETK and TIS can be made to work together in the same interface (if You want to use both together, it's better to install ETK first and then TIS). Important changes and fixes to consumers problems with vehicles are documented in this system. The ETK often refers to a TIS (or SI) document when You are to replace parts. The TIS covers all hotline information bulletins from 1996, important older service information (SI) from 1986, and all newer SI bulletins from mid-95. It also has a troubleshooting table of repair instructions for vehicles from E36 and newer. The program can also be installed and used on any Windows system using Windows 95 or later. No special hardware is required, and no license key or dongle is needed. The ETK is not needed to install the TIS as the TIS also has the sysadm utility required to install applications on a Windows PC. This is the latest version any seller on eBay is offering: 2007/12 auf Deutsche Sprache and 2007/08 in English language. Lotus City Car supermini: a future with Proton

The Lotus City Car concept was the sixth member of the Lotus Everything launchpad at this month's Paris motor show, and had been assumed to be a technical showcase rather than a serious production car. However, in an interview with Automotive World, Lotus CEO Dany Bahar admits that the Lotus City Car was developed in tandem with its Malaysian owners Proton.
