The hot version of its A1 city car will be powered by the turbocharged 2.0-litre engine used in the Audi S3, and come with four-wheel drive as standard. A 1928 Mercedes-Benz 680S Saoutchik Torpedo finished in German Chassis gray has taken top honors at the 2012 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. The car is owned by Paul Andrews of Fort Worth, Texas, and was restored by Paul Russell and Co. Andrews acquired the car in 2010 with the assistance of Gooding and Co.

Ferrari 458 Italias ‘selling for £200k in UK’

The first examples of the new Ferrari 458 Italia supercar are trading for close to £200,000, price guide Glass’s Guide reports today. It claims wealthy enthusiasts are paying a £25,000 premium to jump the queue and get into one of the first 458s in Britain. The Italia lists at £169,545 in the UK, with first deliveries due for summer 2010.
