Our 2” boat winch straps feature 4,000 lb. polyester webbing and an 8,000 lb. forged steel snap hook. Available in both loop and tail ends. Custom lengths and specifications are available for OEM use. For added value, our standard 2” loop end packaged winch straps include a free replacement bolt and nut for your winch drum.

Chinese car maker BYD are using revolutionary battery technology in the BYD E6
The biggest problem with electric cars (or one of them, at least) is that the battery technology is not really up to the ambitions of car makers. Chevrolet’s Volt (aka Opel Ampera) is a good case in point. Tellingly, a Toyota tecchy referred to the science behind the Chevvy Volt as ‘Vaporware’, and the whole project is founded on the expectation that the technolgy will develop quickly enough to make the car a reality.

Peugeot 207 CC Review & Road Test
The sun is actually shining, although it was raining earlier. The rain was expected, if for no other reason than we’ve got a drop top to play with this week. The way the world works is that a drop top for review in summer foretells a period of unseasonably wet and chilly weather, and a capable SUV in January sees the sun break out and spring-like temperatures arrive.

The Mercedes C63 AMG estate looks nice then…
That is does, being better resolved and (slightly) more understated than the saloon. But don’t for one moment let the big boot fool you, because this car has 451bhp and 443lb ft. The C63’s 6.2-litre V8 is a great engine and it will rocket Mercedes’ latest load-lugger from rest to 62mph in 4.6 seconds.
