Jaguar XF Sportbrake

The Jaguar XF Sportbrake – the first ever offical Jaguar wagon – has been unveiled less than a week before its debut at the Geneva motor show. Everything from the B-pillar backwards is new compared to the XF sedan, included the extended DLO accent that's highlighted by the gloss black D-pillars, reminiscent of the XJ sedans'. The Sportbrake's overall length grows by only 5mm to 4,966mm, while its weight increases by less than 70kg.

Torquey, lively and frugal, the 1.0 litre EcoBoost engine is a little marvel, a fact recognised for the second year running by the judging panel for the Engine of the Year Awards,  which has given the 1.0 litre EcoBoost the highest ever marks in the award’s fifteen year history. We always aim to highlight as many college exhibitions as possible, but with so many graduating students each year, it's not surprising some are taking the promotion of their work into their own hands. The transportation and automotive design students at Coventry University have done just that by setting up a Tumblr highlighting the development of the final projects we'll see towards the end of May. The quality and variety of work looks very promising, especially considering they're some way from finished.
