They will not crack, split or break due to exposure to sunlight. They are highly resistant to harm by fuel, acid or cleaning solvents. These covers fit most standard flat plate drives. In the unlikely event that you need to modify the hole pattern, they can easily be drilled. Please be advised, however, that once you modify the cover it cannot be returned. Sat, 25 Aug 2012The first photos of the 2013 4WD Porsche 911 Carrera 4 & 4S – coupe and cabriolet – have leaked out ahead of a Paris 2012 debut. Update: The new Porsche 911 Carrera 4 has now been officially revealed. The latest version of the Porsche 911 (Porsche 911) arrived at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, and Porsche are planning to reveal the four wheel drive versions – the Porsche 911 $ and 4S, Coupe and cabriolet – at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
Who's Where: Jason Castriota joins Stile Bertone
Thu, 27 Nov 2008Contrary to what was previously disclosed, Car Design News has now confirmed that Jason Castriota, who left his position at Pininfarina on the eve of the Paris Motor Show in September, is set to become Design Director at Stile Bertone. He will start his new position on December 1. Castriota had initially intended to set up his own design consultancy before being approached by Bertone.
Renault Alpine A110-50
Fri, 25 May 2012As we reported earlier this week, the Renault Alpine A110-50 prototype will be shown at the 2012 Monaco Grand Prix this weekend. Designed by Yann Jarsalle and Concept and Show Car Director Axel Breun the A110-50 effectively relaunches the historic Alpine brand despite being essentially a reworked version of the Renault-branded DeZir concept unveiled at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. As well as the addition of various Alpine design cues – the stylized yellow spot lamp pods, central hood flute and blue and orange colorway – the car is built on the platform of the RenaultSport Megane Trophy racecar and so therefore requires cooling provisions for its mid-mounted engine.
