Davis Air Dryer 500

Air-Dryr™ Mildew Fighter

Say Goodbye to Mold, Mildew and Moisture

1459 Air-Dryr 500. Handles up to 500 cubic feet of living space.

Draws only 0.6 amps, 70 watts. Rectangular unit measures

14 x 5 x 4.5" (36 x 13 x 11 cm). EU model handles up to 14

cubic meters of living space.

Air-Dryrª is an inexpensive and effective way to fight moisture

problems, cold drafts, and corrosion. Designed to operate

anywhere, 24 hours a day. Place Air-Dryr on the floor in

any damp, enclosed space and plug into a 110/120 volt

outlet. The damp air is heated to the point moisture is

held in suspension (above dew point), then released

through the top vents of the device. As warmed air rises,

cooler damp air is drawn in, where it too is heated. Air-Dryr

costs no more to operate than the burning of a light bulb.

A thermal cutoff turns the unit off should air flow be impeded.

Ford Iosis Max unveiled at Geneva motor show 2009

Mon, 02 Mar 2009

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 02 March 2009 18:00 Ford is serving up a big-bang surprise at Geneva with the launch of the Iosis Max concept car. The third in a series of Iosis show cars, the Max affords our first view of the new 2011 Ford Focus, with a hint of next-gen 2010 C-Max thrown in for good measure.  The Iosis Max looks just like the next-gen Focus at the front and heralds some important new styling treatments for all future Fords, its designers have told CAR. The lower trapezoidal grille, for instance, will in future feature these horizontal chromed strakes, echoing the feature lines on the bonnet, and the Blue Oval badge appears more prominently in the middle of the higher, Fiesta-style grille.

Video: Ferrari F70 caught drifting at Fiorano

Wed, 06 Feb 2013

0-60 tipped us off to this short video of Ferrari's forthcoming Enzo successor drifting its way around Ferrari's Fiorano test track. The F70's V12 can be heard, though there's no evidence of the rumored KERS-like hybrid system. Ferrari tells us to expect a sub-2,500-pound curb weight, and we're also hearing the 920-hp figure bandied about.

CAR WORKERS and mechanics are the most physically active staff, taking regular exercise more than three times a week, according to a new study. Employees in leisure and tourism were ranked second.
