Here for sale is a beautiful Boeing 502-6 gas turbine jet engine. Custom turbojet configuration produces approximately 265lbs of thrust and weighs roughly 110 lbs. 46" long, 24" wide, and 26" tall. Perfect for cars, trucks, motorcycles, aircraft, or anything else the Mind may dream up.

Turbine includes starter, left and right igniters, cross fire tube, high pressure fuel pump coupled to fuel metering device, oil dip stick, exhaust nozzle, main fuel solenoid, bleed fuel bypass solenoid, tachometer generator, oil pressure sender, oil temperature sender, egt probe, oil cooler, remote oil filter and mount, oil cooler and filter lines, gearbox breather filter, service manual in binder, and intake screen.

Also included is N1 tachometer indicator, oil pressure indicator, oil temperature indicator, egt indicator, exciters and leads, fuel transfer pump, fuel filter, free crating and shipping.

Recently serviced with oil sumps and screens cleaned, compressor cleaned, combustion chambers and liners degreased, new combustion elbow gaskets and quick release spider plates, new o rings on combustion cans, new fuel and oil lines installed, new fittings and o rings installed, new stainless steel hardware, new oil filter and new breather filter, nozzle box cleaned and painted, custom turbojet exhaust nozzle installed, entire engine painted and detailed.

Gas turbine wheel and compressor impeller are both in great shape.

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 29 May 2008 08:30 This is the Ferrari California – the new 2+2 GT unveiled today. There’s a seven-speed twin-clutch transmission, a 454bhp 4.3-litre V8 with direct injection, a folding metal roof and space for four. Right, concrete numbers on the Ferrari California please… The engine is a 4300cc V8, using the existing block from the F430 but with a new head to accommodate direct injection. It’s the first time Ferrari has used DI and helps the California produce 454bhp at a heady 7500rpm.

80 mph speed limit: Idaho and Wyoming poised to be next

Idaho and Wyoming could soon see 80 mph speed limits introduced to a number of highways, joining Texas and Utah as the states with some of the fastest permitted passenger car-driving speeds, KMVT-TV in Idaho is reporting. A bill in Idaho would see some sections of interstates go from 75 mph to 80 mph, and other selected highways go from 65 mph to 70 mph, which are probably speeds that drivers are doing anyway in remote and not-so-remote parts of both states. But the Idaho Transportation Department did not lend its support to the bill even though it is given the authority to implement it.

Ferrari start to tease the new F620 GT Ferrari is teasing the replacement for the 599 – probably the Ferrari F620 GT – with a video tease. Debuts 29th February. We’ve known for a while that the replacement for the Ferrari 599 – which looks like it will be the Ferrari F620 or F620 GT – is on its way and due to have its public debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
