This is a flight controller panel used on Boeing commercial aircraft. This one has a parts tag showing removal from N611US on 3/7/01 during tear down and has been in storage since. It is in good condition without damage to the housing or connectors. The controls move easily and the data tag reads SPERRY FLIGHT SYSTEMS, FLIGHT CONTROLLER, PART NO. 2590625-902, BOEING PART NO. 60B00013-402. It is not tagged and I have no way to test it so it is being listed AS IS. Thank you for looking and please see our many other aviation auctions. Thu, 10 Jan 2013Ferrari's official magazine has revealed another teaser shot of the replacement Enzo. The image, which appeared in The Official Ferrari Magazine alongside a previously released teaser, shows a close up of the rear including the lamps, exhaust and and some dramatically flared haunches. The Enzo's successor – codenamed the F150 – has a chassis made entirely from carbon fiber as it takes on its main competitor, the McLaren P1.
Volvo V60 Plug-in Hybrid: Production to double to cope with demand
Mon, 29 Apr 2013It’s particularly appealing if you like a car with a decent turn of speed – the V60 will do 0-62mph in 6.1 seconds – like the reassurance and practicality of 4WD – the V60′s electric motor drives the back wheels – drive in to London on a regular basis – the 48g/km emissions are congestion charge free – and get taxed as BIK from your company. If all those apply – and you already appreciate the Volvo V60 is a very good car to start with – then the V60 plug-in hybrid is a bit of a no-brainer, even with a headline price of nearly £50k (which gets within £6k of an equivalent non plug-in after the taxpayer has chipped in). It seems that many buyers agree, and Volvo is being inundated with orders.
Volkswagen takes stake in Suzuki
Wed, 09 Dec 2009VW takes a 19.9% stake in Suzuki We’re back on the co-operation and rationalisation path again, this time with Volkswagen and Suzuki, with the announcement that VW is to take a 19.9% stake in Suzuki, with Suzuki in turn re-investing up to half of the proceeds in to Volkswagen shares. This deal has been on the cards for some time but has obviously been pushed in to reality by the changing landscape for car manufacturers, where they seek to find a more secure future with takeovers, mergers and partnerships. Which is all very logical, even if it will inevitably lead to less choice for the car buyer in the long term.
