Smart ForTwo Edition Highstyle hits UK
Fri, 02 Oct 2009The Chocolate Brown Smart ForTwo Edition Highstyle hits the UK The Smart Edition Highstyle is a colour throwback to the seventies, based on the ‘Passion’ Spec. You get chocolate brown paintwork and 15″ alloys, with some aluminium-look ‘Highstyle’ badges thrown in. But I suppose that’s the problem with getting older.
Concept Car of the Week: BMW Spicup (1969)
Fri, 19 Apr 2013The oddly named Spicup, standing for Spider and Coupé, was first presented at the 1969 Geneva Motor Show. Carozzeria Bertone had previous collaborations with BMW such as the 3200CS coupe by Giugiaro. The friendship between Nuccio Bertone and Willhelm Hoffmeister, head of bodywork construction at BMW, must have also contributed to the brand agreeing to provide an early pre-production of the E3 generation 2500 saloon as a base for the concept.
Lamborghini Aventador Roadster: Easy remove roof (video)
Tue, 13 Nov 2012We have video of the new Lamborghini Aventador Roadster at a private reveal in Miami showing that the roof really is easy to remove. It’s a great-looking car – even if it’s more Targa than Roadster – and comes with the same 6.5 litre V12 and 0-62mph of just 3.0 seconds as the coupe. More importantly, especially if you get caught in a shower, the Aventador Roadster actually has a roof that can be removed and re-fitted in quick sticks.
