Brand:Boeing Compatible Model:747-400 Warranty:No Country//Region of Manufacture:United States

This yoke was taken off a retired Quantas 747-400 that was laid to rest in the Mojave Desert. I am the original owner and went into the actual bird (747-400) and was there for the removal. You can't get any closer to the source. This is the F.O.'s yoke, and it is in beautiful condition. The buttons have that incredible precision feel, the trim, and the auto pilot disconnect just feel so incredibly precise. The whole thing feels so solid. The checklist is an added bonus. It pops up for better visibility. The little white knob moves up and down like it should. It also has the stick shaker column still attached. The 747 is being phased out slowly over time. This is a beautiful museum quality piece. Boeing brown. Here's your chance to own a piece of aviation history. A piece of a 747, the Queen of the Skies! For display purposes only.

Pagani Huayra in Purple with Tricolour Calipers (video)

Sun, 11 Nov 2012

We have video of what looks like a new build Pagani Huayra, still plastic wrapped, in purple with Italian Tricolour brake calipers. That’s because the Pagani Huayra has not, as far as we can tell, managed to get a European Certificate of Conformity or managed to be Federalised for the US, so sales are impossible. But Pagani are still producing a few cars – although they’ve probably built more Zondas in the last two years than Huayras – but it looks like this Huayra – caught on video outside Pagaini’s premises in Modena – is a new build.

Arabian horse inspires bespoke Rolls Royce Phantom Mirage [w/gallery]

Thu, 29 Mar 2012

Rolls-Royce has created a bespoke Phantom Coupé named Mirage, inspired by the powerful Arabian stallion of the same name that became famous during the 1920s and ‘30s. The one-off car, designed for the United Arab Emirates market, features a matte black exterior with horse's head incorporated into its coachline detail, a motif that continues into the Mugello Red and black interior. There is also silver detailing such as the rope inlay on the front fascia and door capping.

Bruce Weiner Micro Car auction: Day two wrap and results

Fri, 22 Feb 2013

With the crowd shuffling out of the Bruce Weiner Micro Car Museum after day one of RM's sale, Autoweek contributor Dave Kinney looked over to RM's Ian Kelleher and complimented him on a strong first day. Kelleher smirked and said that he expected that day two would be even better. He was right.
