The University of Cincinnati (UC) Transportation Design Studio displayed two projects over the summer. Sponsored by Acura and DaimlerChrysler, the projects consisted of two ten-week quarters divided by professional practice. The first quarter of the projects involved 2D exterior theme development of a diverse range of crossover vehicles for the year 2015.

Renault today announces its new sporting division, Renault SportF1. Renault SportF1 will monopolise 25% of the grid by supply three teams engines and technology for 2011. Renault Sport F1 was formed after Renault decided to sell its minority stake in the Renault F1 team to Genii Capita who they will continue to provide technical and engineering expertise to.

1955 Ford Thunderbird takes 2012 Ridler Award at Detroit Autorama

Dwayne Peace, his family and his 1955 Ford Thunderbird took hot-rodding's top prize at the Detroit Autorama on Sunday: the 49th Don Ridler Memorial Award. Peace, accompanied by his two sons who helped build the car, received the trophy and a check for $10,000. The Ridler Award is named for Don Ridler, an athlete and Autorama event promoter from 1957 to 1961.
