Up for Sale a Piece of B-737 Cockpit-Interior-Liner\Trim\Plastic …..unfortunately the Aircraft-demolition people very often do not have the interest of the “Sim-builders” omong us at heart….they are after-all “demolition-men” and not really “salvagers”…..they’re working under time-constraints and will not give themselves the time “to properly remove items”…..often items are just simply “ripped-out” screws-in-all….many of the pieces of Trim that I will put up for auction will have small-,or large cracks,corners missing,slightly warped or bend…..it is the nature of things—I just cannot exactly describe each and every nook and cranny,it is afterall “for parts or not working” and it will very much depend on your skill with epoxy-glues and Bondo to get the pieces back to “life”…always please be guided by the photo’s supplied….that having been said…… : This is a piece from Captain's side, which has the thru-hole for the Nose-wheel-steering....it is slightly "out-of-shape" and - do look at photo number 2-,there is a crack that needs repairing in the lower-right-hand-corner.....as always- please be guided by photo's supplied,what you see is what you get.....Thank you for looking ! Apple's Siri to invade cars within one year
Mon, 11 Jun 2012The Apple Worldwide Developers Conference 2012 was under way on Monday at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, where Apple CEO Tim Cook has announced that the Siri personal assistant will soon be in the car. According to Cook, within the next 12 months, drivers will be able to hit a button on the steering wheel and connect with that disembodied voice from the commercials. BMW, General Motors, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar, Audi, Toyota, Chrysler and Honda have all signed on for the experience.
