Ferrari 458 Italia Goodwood hillclimb video
Tue, 06 Jul 2010The Ferrari 458 Italia starts the hillclimb at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2010 The Goodwood Festival of Speed wouldn’t be the same without a Ferrari or three blasting up the hillclimb or doing donuts at every given opportunity. And this year was no different with two of Ferrari’s latest on display in the form of the 458 Italia and the 599 GTO. And just like last year Ferrari were active in the Supercar Run up the hillclimb and just like last year they filmed it and sent it to us.
Dany Bahar wants £6.7 million compensation from Lotus
Tue, 28 Aug 2012The Dany Bahar saga at Lotus continues with Bahar claiming £6.7 million compensation for his firing as Lotus CEO. Back in May, ex-Ferrari man Dany Bahar was ousted as CEO of Lotus, confirmed a month later by Lotus parent DBR-Hicom who appointed Aslam Farikullah – an engineer, not a marketing man – to oversee a way forward for Lotus, and just last week Lotus put Bahar’s custom Esprit up for sale. But that appears not to be the end of dealings between DBR-Hicom and Bahar as Bahar has issued proceedings against his former employers seeking compensation of £6.7 million for wrongful dismissal.
Dream – Cars of the Future Since 1950
Fri, 28 Nov 2008The city of Turin has been celebrating as World Design Capital 2008 this year with a series of over 200 separate events and exhibitions. One of the highlights has been a series of three themed shows running throughout the year, entitled '20th Century', 'Speed' and 'Dream'; the final exhibition of this trilogy. Housed at the Giovanni Agnelli Espositione - the wonderful Nervi-designed hall on Corso Massimo D'Azeglio that used to host the Salone di Torino in the 1950s - 'Dream' is a fabulous exhibition but, regrettably, one that hasn't been well publicized outside of Turin city.
