Porsche confirms four-cylinder Macan
Wed, 11 Dec 2013Porsche has said that its new Macan SUV will come with four-cylinder engines – making it the first four-pot Porsche since 1995. Porsche engineer Antoon Janssen told MSN Cars: “There will be four-cylinder engines added to the range shortly. In uprated 'S' guise, the 577bhp/580lb ft exec saloon monster can only be ordered with 4Matic all-wheel drive in left-hand drive markets, but the UK gets only rear-drive cars. Thu, 16 May 2013Johan Schwartz shattered the Guinness World Record for longest sustained drift in a BMW M5 Saturday, completing a total of 322.5 laps and covering 51.278 miles. Schwartz, a BMW Performance Driving instructor, beat the previous 6.94-mile drift record at the BMW Performance Center in Greenville, S.C. using just one set of Continental tires.
