Setting a Baseline for Fuel Consumption Testing MPG Make sure you have a good baseline of your most recent mileage before you begin using Boost Fuel Saver. 1st step Record several fuel tanks of your before (Baseline MPG) mileage, without using Boost Fuel Saver. 2nd step Use Boost Fuel Saver with 5 - 7 or MORE fuel tank fill-ups. And record your after results, MPG. If at all possible, try and buy gas from the same supplier/brand, before and during your test, as mileage can vary from the refiner. If possible test protocol with as many subjects, in order to witness more accurate average result of patterns. On vehicle engines with higher miles example 30,000 - 100,000 miles or more, it is recommended to double dose the first 3 tanks, or *MORE (fill-ups) in order to clean the engine quicker, by cleaning: Injectors, valves, seats/guides, combustion chamber, fuel pumps, sludge in fuel lines, sludge build-up in fuel filters, fuel system corrosion and condensation, remove carbon deposits from the combustion chamber and other parts. Once the system is clean, then the lubricants will lubricate the: fuel injectors, valve seats/guides, combustion chamber, fuel pumps, fuel system, top end of the engine, including pistons, valve parts, upper cylinder walls, and helps reduce friction and prolong the engine life. Soon as the engine is clean and lubricated, the high quality fuel catalyst provides more efficient combustion process, reducing combustible carbon residue (emission are reduced between 60% - 90%) and reduced fuel consumption is witnessed as well ! Boost Fuel Saver is a unique blend of oil soluble organo-metallics which results in better overall performance of your internal-combustion engine. When added to gasoline or diesel fuel. The powerful components of Boost Fuel Saver, added with gasoline or diesel fuel: a.) Increases the combustion efficiency. b.) Provides a more efficient combustion process by lowering the ignition temperature of the hydrocarbons. (c.) Prevents soot particles from adhering to equipment and metal surfaces. (d.) Keeps hydrocarbons separated, not allowing them to stick together and agglomerate in the form of gums, resins and particulate. (e.) Stabilizes the natural chemical activity of fuel, preventing formulation of fuel particulate. (f.) Disperses any hydrocarbon particulate that may already be present in a fuel, while continuously cleaning fuel system components. (g.) Includes detergents for both gasoline and diesel engines. (h.) Lubricates fuel pumps, injectors and upper cylinder walls. (i.) Includes corrosion inhibitor to keep metal components of the fuel system like new. (j.) Demulsifies to keep water out of the fuel. (k.) Prolongs the life of stored fuel, ensuring fuel reliability. The highly concentrated blend of ingredients in Boost Fuel Saver (1/2 fl oz. or 15mL treats *20 - 40 gallons of diesel, gasoline, or bio-fuel blends) eliminates the need for multiple products that are intended to treat just one symptom. Regular use of Boost Fuel Saver will allow for optimum results in engine performance when combined with regular and scheduled maintenance of any internal-combustion engine. Boost Fuel Saver allows the use of lower octane gasoline, and lower quality fuels, with no decrease in engine performance. To witness similar benefits without using BOOST, you would have to purchase the highest grade premium fuel, spending $.20 - $.30 cents more per gallon, in addition to using multiple individual additives. On new cars/trucks, or engines with low miles, (1/2 fl oz.) will treat up to 40 gallons of Diesel, Gasoline, or Bio-Fuel. Many experts recommend double-dosage every time they treat/fill-up at a rate of (*1/2 fl oz.) with 20 gallons of diesel, Gasoline or Bio-Fuel as well. For optimum results use at least 5 - 7 treatments of Boost Fuel Saver or MORE ! Some newer engines with computers, may take up to 10 Treatments/Tank Fill-ups, for the computers to adjust to the improved economy, there-by injecting less fuel. Use Boost Fuel Saver, every time the fuel tank is filled, in order to witness the savings and benefits. * Some users always double dose, while other users believe single dose is adequate in new, or engines with low miles * Use Boost Fuel Saver, every time you fill-up, and witness the benefits! Typical Fuel Economy Result Patterns (A. Scenario) Fuel economy will immediately increase upon initial use and continue to increase until it levels off. This happens in a large percentage of vehicles. Boost Fuel Saver immediately improves the quality and burn rate of the fuel. Also, the improvements in engine function, cleanliness, and lubrication add to the overall increase in fuel efficiency. (B. Scenario) Fuel economy will go up immediately, drop for a tank or two, then steadily increase over time until it levels off Your vehicle takes advantage of the better burning fuel. Then, as Boost Fuel Saver works to clean the sludge and carbon build-up out of the engine, your fuel economy can decrease during the initial cleaning process. (C. Scenario) You will see no noticeable change during the first few treatments, then fuel economy will slowly, steadily increase until it levels off. This lack of initial performance can be due to a number of factors including: The initial engine cleaning process, Horse power usage, Driving pattern changes, Weather conditions, Loads, Factory fuel blends, Air-conditioning, etc. (D. Scenario) Fuel economy will decrease for the first tank or two, then steadily increase over time until it levels off. Occasionally this will happen and is due to the initial cleaning process in dirty engines. Also, some vehicles computers take time to adjust to the better flow of fuel and improved economy. Fuel Economy Tanks of fuel Consumed with Boost Fuel Saver IMPORTANT NOTE: Boost Fuel Saver is based on a chemistry that happens when added to the fuel. This chemistry happens every time. It is working all the time. Boost Fuel Saver is not selective about when it works. It always improves the burn rate of the fuel. It always helps clean and lubricate engines, etc. The differing initial results are determined from the differing conditions of the engine, and other outside factors as stated above. True calculating tests are done with the same vehicle, with the same driver, on the same routes, with the same load, with the same fuel. There are multiple tests like this available. The bottom line Boost Fuel Saver will always increase fuel economy, decrease emissions, increase horse power, performance, and prolong the life of your engine too. |

Volvo C30 Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) revealed
Thu, 17 Sep 2009The Volvo C30 BEV Revealed is probably a bit strong as Volvo hasn’t actually rolled out a car for the world to see. But it is a plan – and internal evaluation, apparantly – of an electric Volvo C30. The Volvo C30 BEV is a logical step for Volvo to take for the small C30.
Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Concept-S heading for Paris Motor Show
Tue, 02 Sep 2014Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Concept-S teased for Paris The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV may not be perfect, but it offers something no other car maker is able to offer at the moment – a tax-efficient plug-in hybrid SUV/Crossover for the same money as a conventionally-powered car. And it looks like Mitsubishi are planning to make the Outlander PHEV even more appealing. We have the first photos of the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Concept-S – which is heading for a debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show – and as far as we can tell this is an upmarket Outlander PHEV with cosmetic tweaks and more toys.
GM recalls ATS, XTS and Impala for brake lamp fix
Thu, 06 Jun 2013Cadillac's 2013 ATS and 2013 XTS and the 2014 Chevrolet Impala are being recalled by General Motors because of a potential problem with the brake lamps. The National Highway Traffic Safety Association reports that the brake lamps may "intermittently flash without the brakes being applied, and the cruise control may disengage." The report states this could cause a crash if the following driver isn't warned to adjust vehicle speed. The recall impacts 1,627 copies of the sedans, and comes just two months after the new Chevy Impalas began rolling off production lines.
