Be sure to add us to your favorites list! Universal 4 port boost control solenoid , typically used with wastegates that have 2 ports. Allows a wider range of boost control than any other method, for a given spring, because full boost can be applied on either side of the wastegate diaphragm. This is used when you need more dynamic range than a 3 port solenoid can provide. (We also offer Mac 3 port solenoids). HIGH FREQUENCY version Allows finer control (better resolution) when controlling both sides of a dual port wastegate actuator (usually external ,sometimes internal/swing gate) This is ideal for running at ~20 HZ, (high resolution).It has good linearity up to 20 HZ from 10-80% duty cycle %. Frequency is selectable in most ECU software. Advantage to running at high frequency is higher resolution (less time between cycles to change the duty). This valve does have the MAC high temperature build option. Cycling wear can be minimized by smart programming (de-energize valve in the appropriate load cells ranges) This is a MAC valve modified for us at the factory by MAC for higher frequency. Some people have problems transitioning from a 3 port set up to a 4 port setup, the diffirence in frequency respons of the 3 port vs the 4 port can be part of the difficulty, this High frequency version of the 4 port valve was made to address that. see here for tech info >>>>>>>>> :http://circuitse7en.net/page26.php The same valve that many manufacturers re-label and mark up, why pay for a sticker? Includes (4) 3/16" brass hose barb fittings and one sintered vent/muffler. All the Ports are 1/8 NPT so you can use any common fitting that you want including AN-adapters. Also includes one sintered high flow air muffler/vent filter. The sintered filter makes the installation easier & cleaner because you don't have to run another hose to your air cleaner. The fittings are injcluded (brass).We do not include AN type fittings, as most want the hose barbs and we are aiming to be the lowest cost supplier of these valves,we don't want you to pay extra for something you don't need. If you want AN fittings email us and we can supply them. This boost control solenoid will not degrade from rich fuel mixtures or oil . Very high life and very resistant to sticking from contamination.
