Survey Finds Honda’s Jazz Hits All The Right Notes

YOU won’t usually find much fanfare accompanying Honda’s Jazz supermini, but the compact hatch clearly hits all the right notes as far as its owners are concerned. And this has been confirmed by the latest Auto Express Driver Power survey, with the Jazz scoring an impressive reliability score of 98 per cent. Up 1.2 per cent on its 2013 score, the British built Honda Jazz climbed two places to take the top podium finish in this year’s results.

Renault working on 141mpg plug-in hybrid concept

Renault is working on a 141mpg plug-in hybrid concept car to be shown at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, according to Renault head of research, advanced studies and materials, Remi Bastien. Speaking to at Renault’s ‘Innovations’ event last year – showcasing the French manufacturer’s new technology that will underpin its next-generation models – Bastien revealed the new car will make its debut in 2014. The Jaguar F-Type's a closet Star Wars geek

Our friends over at Jalopnik are currently at Jaguar F-Type media event over in Seattle, where they had a chance to catch up with its design Wayne Burgess (check out our full interview with him here), who revealed some interesting sources of inspiration for some of its detailing. The first is a real easter egg - a detail that once you've discovered it you can't help but see - the front lamp cans are based on Star Wars' TIE Fighter. What has been seen can not be unseen.
