SHIPPINGWhilst we take the utmost pride in packing all our Internet and Mail orders, sometimes accidents, delays or errors do occur. Deliveries must be signed for, and anyone at the delivery address who receives the products shall be presumed by VPW Australia to be authorised to receive the products. VPW Australia and its carriers are unable to provide an estimate of the delivery time. If you are unsure if you will be available at the delivery address during the delivery hours, we recommend nominating a work address or address of a family member who will be present during the delivery hours. (Normally 8:30-5pm Monday to Friday) In the instance someone is not able to sign for your delivery; our carrier/s will leave a card. You will need to contact them directly to make alternative delivery arrangements. You will be sent a Tracking notification by email for you to track your parcel when it leaves VPW Australia. Please always check your Junk/Spam folders of your email for this notification if it is not delivered to your Inbox. RETURNSWe are happy to exchange any product purchased Online as long as the product is returned in its original condition (unopened and unmarked packaging), and is accompanied by proof of purchase in the form of a tax invoice/receipt and/or packing slip. Delivery charges are not refundable for incorrect choice, and products are to be returned to the store at the customer's own cost. Lotus is getting combative with the new Elise, pointing out that the Elise weighs just 876kg – while the Porsche Boxster sends the scales spinning to 1334kg.So how come the new Lotus Elise is so clean?The aerodynamics are 4% smoother, according to Lotus, while a smaller Toyota 1.6-litre VVT-i engine is downsized by 200cc compared with the outgoing 1.8, yet produces the same power.The new 2011 model year (but on sale now in 2010) shows the benefits of lightweight: it'll hit 60mph in 6.0sec.
Jaguar Land Rover: 800 new jobs & record sales
Mon, 14 Jan 2013Jaguar Land Rover are creating 800 new jobs at their Solihull plant as they reveal record sales for 2012 of 335,000 vehicles. The end of last week saw Honda plans to cut 800 jobs as the European market for Honda fizzled under a cloud of economic gloom, but no such problems at Jaguar Land Rover. Jaguar Land Rover has revealed plans for 800 new jobs at Solihull (following on from 1,000 new jobs last March, 1100 new jobs last July and 1000 new jobs in November 2011), after revealing record sales across the globe in 2012, selling an impressive 335,000 vehicles.
