Peugeot 308
Fri, 08 Jun 2007These are the first pictures of the forthcoming Peugeot 308 that replaces the 307. The car will compete predominantly in the lower medium European C-sector along with the Opel Astra, Ford Focus, the class leading Volkswagen Golf, and its PSA sibling: the Citroen C4. The 308 is expected to make its public debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September and be available at launch in 3 and 5 door hatchback body styles with other variants including an estate to follow. The design builds on the tall proportions established by its predecessor and some of the features that the 207 introduced as well as appearing to have been influenced by some Mercedes designs.

Pitched as a hint at what could replace the Subaru Legacy, Subaru says the new Advanced Tourer Concept juggles 'driving performance and utility.' This concept car is a bit smaller than today's Legacy, however; at 4580mm long, it's more C-segment sized than the current 4775mm Legacy wagon. Tue, 24 Jan 2012The Saab Museum - including the Ursaab (pictured) - has been saved Despite falling victim to Saab’s bankruptcy, the Saab Museum has been saved by Trollhatten City, Saab AB and the Marcus and Amalia Wallenberg Memorial Fund. When we reported that the Saab Museum – and all its cars – was up for sale last week to try and bring in a few coppers to fill the black hole that is the Bankrupt Saab’s finances, it looked as if the historic collec tion – which includes the very first Ursaab – was destined to be broken up. The fate of the Saab Museum seemed to be to be scattered to the four corners of the globe as each car was sold to the highest bidder, but it’s been revealed that the entire collection - including the Museum building - has been saved for the Swedish nation.
