Top view teaser shot of the new Jaguar XJ - and a teaser video below There really is nothing very new from Jaguar with this release, save to confirm a number of details on the new Jaguar XJ which you will already be aware of if you read here regularly. But Mike O’Driscoll  (MD of Jaguar Cars), speaking at the Shanghai Motor Show this morning, confirmed what we’ve already told you – that the new XJ will be revealed in full on 9th July. The new Jaguar XJ will come with all the Gen III engines in the JLR tool box.

Saab is sold again: two Chinese makers buy Saab

Chinese car makers Pang Da and Youngman today agreed to buy Saab in its entirety from Swedish Automobile. It's the latest extraordinary twist in the saga of Saab, which has been technically bankrupt since September 2011 and built just 11,000 cars this year. The deal, which will see the Chinese car makers pay €100 million for Saab, has not yet however been signed and sealed.

General Motors reveals two-wheel PUMA electric-vehicle prototype

It’s based on the same driving principles as a skateboard. It looks like a phone booth, or perhaps a baby stroller. But despite the unconventional nature of this vehicle, General Motors says a two-seat, two-wheel ride called PUMA could be a solution to loosen congestion in crowded urban areas.
