I recently removed this unit from my 2006 Mazda MX5 GT, and it's in perfect working condition.
If you have a 2006 or later Mazda MX5 non-GT unit, then this would be a GREAT upgrade for your sound system. It is 100% original, stock Mazda. The center faceplate that says "BOSE" on it has one small hole that was drilled to accommodate a wire for a Parrot Bluetooth hands-free kit. That is the ONLY 'mod' that was made, and it's totally cosmetic.
Since I'm not a Mazda technician, I can't provide a lot of technical
details. Please do your own reading and homework to make sure this will
work in your specific year/model MX5 / Miata.

Chrysler launches Autorama High School Design Competition for Michigan students

The Autorama High School Design Competition 2014, which is open to high school students currently attending a Michigan public school, asks entrants to ‘design a vehicle that satisfies the needs of young consumers while remaining eco-friendly'. Wed, 10 Jul 2013Peugeot designers have brought six childrens' car sketches to life by rendering them as a prize for the 'Draw Me The Car of 2020' design competition, launched in collaboration with children's magazine Okapi. The six 10-15 year old winners – Clement, Thomas, Lena, Tom, Leo and Gaspard – were able to see their dream cars realized by Peugeot designer Olivier Gamiette, who worked on the EX1 concept car. Peugeot presented the first placed winner, Thomas, with a 270mm by 140mm model of his design at an awards ceremony held at the carmaker's design center in Velizy, France.
