Honda goes social with the Sounds of Civic songwriting contest

Tue, 17 May 2011

It seems all automakers are tapping the social-media networks these days. From the Ford Mustang Mayhem package to the Toyota Prius plural campaign, conventional wisdom is there's nothing a few thousand Facebook fans can't handle. Fri, 09 Mar 2012

Mercedes-Benz has lifted the veil of secrecy on the plug-in-electric propulsion system of its upcoming SLS E-Cell, first revealed in concept form at the 2009 Frankfurt auto show. The car is undergoing development at Mercedes-Benz's performance-car AMG unit and its British-based sister company, AMG High Performance Powertrains--the company behind Mercedes' latest 2.4-liter V6 Formula One race engine.

Porsche 911 Sport Classic to debut at Frankfurt

Wed, 02 Sep 2009

Porsche is planning some sports-car candy for the Frankfurt motor show: the limited-edition 911 Sport Classic, which blends styling cues from the brand's storied past with the always intoxicating notion of more power. The 911 Sport Classic will be limited to just 250 copies and will cost about $241,000. Unfortunately, it's not coming to North America.
