We have another used Bowtie SB2.2 Block. This looks to be close to 4.183" bore and has 2.00" main size. I measured these blocks with a cheap digital caliper and it is probably off a little bit. I get a different reading every time I measure the piston bore size. I think the deck height was around 8.990 or 9.00", It has 55.5 mm roller cam bearings, with a cam tunnel, .874 lifter bores, billet main caps. I bought this at Earnhardt Childress Engines. I decided to sell all my engines and parts because I am getting to old and fat to fit in my racecar anymore. All our items sold AS-IS No Returns. I prefer you pick this up but will crate it up for a $100.00 crating fee. You can pick this up in Monmouth, Illinois to save the shipping charges. |

Chinese car maker BYD are using revolutionary battery technology in the BYD E6
The biggest problem with electric cars (or one of them, at least) is that the battery technology is not really up to the ambitions of car makers. Chevrolet’s Volt (aka Opel Ampera) is a good case in point. Tellingly, a Toyota tecchy referred to the science behind the Chevvy Volt as ‘Vaporware’, and the whole project is founded on the expectation that the technolgy will develop quickly enough to make the car a reality.

The new SEAT Toledo – seen at Geneva 2012 and sister car to the new Skoda Rapid – has been revealed. The SEAT Toledo Concept rolled out at this year’s Geneva Motor Show looked production ready to us, and judging by the reveal of the new SEAT Toledo in production guise today, it was. Sister car to the recently revealed Skoda Rapid, the SEAT version is separated from its sibling by minor differences on the nose, tail lights and trim and is aimed at exactly the same market place.

Mercedes F125 Hydrogen Fuel Cell Concept
It’s probably going to be like this for a few days, with leaks ahead of reveals as Frankfurt looms. Now we have a bit of a surprise from the boys at Benz, with the leak of a photo of the Mercedes F125 Hydrogen Fuel Cell Concept. Possibly pointing the way to the next generation S-Class – or maybe the one after, or the one after that, or… – the big gullwing coupé comes with a proper set of green credentials and, for a real change, green credentials with a future.
