UP FOR AUCTION:

ONE ORIGINAL VINTAGE 1960'S BRADEX FIRST AID KIT WITH ALL ORIGINAL CONTENTS TO GO IN YOUR WORKS RALLY MINI COOPER, MGB, AUSTIN HEALEY 3000 OR ANY OTEHR RALLY OR RACE CAR.
Great to put in your boot or vintage tool kit in your classic Rally car at a car show.

It is a USED (PRE OWNED) ORIGINAL BRADEX VINTAGE MINI FIRST AID KIT.
This comes from the mid 1960's and has it's complete stock of ORIGINAL contents, including the BRADEX Hints on First Aid pamphlet and tissue cover.
It is a period Red & White painted tin with the "BRADEX" First Aid Cross and "mini FIRST AID kit" painted on label.
It is in really great shape for and item that is probably 50 years old.
The paint is still shiny but there is some wear on the edges of the tin, so it is not perfect.
There is some residue on one of the ends from an old sticker.
I did not want to try to clean it off.
The bottom of the tin is very shiny as well.
I have had a few of these and most get rusty as they spend their life in a car boot or on a boat prone to the weather.
It has all it's original contents which include;
1 pair of scissors,
1 pair of tweezers,
1 roll of cotton wool,
1- 1" x 3 yards of bandage,
1- 2" x 4 yards of bandage,
1 bottle of Tablets of Aspirin,
1 box of Wendy Assorted safety pins,
1 bottle of Emulsion of PROFLAVINE,
1 tin of 1/2" x 1 yard of Zinc Oxide Plaster B.P.C.,
1 tin of CRELA Elastic Adhesive Dressing,
1 tin of CRELA Elastic Adhesive Dressing,
& 1 Envelope of CRELA Surgical Lint Superfine -  Absorbent.

PLEASE LOOK AT ALL THE PICTURES.

It is a known fact that each of the BMC WORKS RALLY CARS were supplied with a MINI FIRST AID KIT, for that "just incase moment should someone in the car have a small injury".
If you look at Peter Brownings book "THE WORK MINI", he has the original "BUILD SHEETS" of some of the WORKS MINIs and it specifies "FIRST AID KIT".
As the company BRADEX supplied BMC with their small CHROME FIRE EXTINGUISHERS as an Official ACCESSORY to BMC cars and the WORKS RALLY CARS,
it is the general belief that they also supplied the FIRST AID KITS to the WORKS RALLY CARS.
The BRADEX mini FIRST AID kit was also an option you could buy for your AUSTIN HEALY SPRITE.
So this would indicate that these were the KITS supplied to the Rally Cars as well.

THIS IS A GREAT PERIOD ITEM FOR YOUR CLASSIC WORKS RALLY CAR.
It measures 165 mm x 95 mm x 45 mm.
Or 6 3/8" x 3 5/8" x 1 5/8".
It weighs 363 grams by itself.

This would be A MUST HAVE for RACE and RALLY fans,

Unique cars, boats and planes land at Key Largo vintage weekend

Tue, 06 Dec 2011

The 17th-annual Vintage Weekend, held the first weekend in December, signifies the start of "the season" for Key Largo's Ocean Reef Club. Sure, it's a display of classic motor yachts and airplanes, but here the car is still star. That is, if you exclude Bob Schwartz's rocket-powered bicycle, which saw 50-mph passes on the runway at Ocean Reef's airport.

Smart: the best concepts and special editions

Fri, 18 Jul 2014

By James Clark Motoring Issues 18 July 2014 11:24 As Smart lifts the lid on the new ForTwo and ForFour this week, CAR magazine looks back on wonderful, wacky and downright woeful Smart special editions and concepts that have been created since the diminutive City Coupe first arrived on the scene in 1998. The Crossblade was a 2002 special edition based on the cabrio version of the city car. Its Brabus-tuned motor put out 70bhp and the car weighed just 740kg.

Thu, 21 Aug 2008

By Ben Whitworth First Official Pictures 21 August 2008 17:08 This is the new Chevrolet Cruze, the compact four-door saloon that that arrives early next year to try and steal some sales from the Focus, Astra and Golf. Due to officially bow in at the Paris motor show next month, the Cruze signposts Chevrolet’s distinctive new design style, and its pronounced split grille is expected to be a key visual feature on new Beat, Volt and Camaro models. Hmm.
