If you use your truck for a truck, then you'll appreciate all the standard features on our bed; things like 1/8" thick tread plate floor, a 30,000 lb rated gooseneck hitch and the incredibly strong receiver type bumper hitch.  With the 4" tall flip-up side rails, you won't be back-tracking looking for your chains or spare tire.  Chain "keyholes" in the headache rack, flush-mounted D-rings in the side rails, and stake pockets in the deck make it easy to secure any load.  The sealed beam lights are flush mounted and there is a 7-pole plug-in for your trailer.  The rear corners of the deck are tapered so backing up a little too close to the dock won't take out the lights.  The forward taper also allows for locating the gooseneck ball further forward while still clearing your trailer gussets in a turn.  The powder coat paint gives it a good shine and easy to wash surface.

Look around, kick tires, check prices.   If you don't settle on our bed hands down, then call us and tell us why.  Our goal is simple.  Build the very best truck bed for the money in the United States of America.
Thank you for your time, and thank you for considering a Bradford Built truck bed.

One Lap of the Web: Cumberbatch on Hamilton and Blue Ovals that never were

Thu, 29 May 2014

-- The Internet's greatest man-crush of the moment, next to boyish rogue Tom Hiddleston, is the aristocratically named and occasionally cross-dressing Benedict Cumberbatch. But the "Sherlock" star (not "Doctor Who," as the un-nerdy announcers mistakenly trumpet) has a dark secret: he's actually a Formula One fan who interviewed Lewis Hamilton at the podium at Malaysia. Bonus points for Nico Rosberg chucking a mike around like it's a hacky sack.

One Lap of the Web: KERS, Klass and autonomous cars

Wed, 17 Apr 2013

We spend a lot of time on the Internet -- pretty much whenever we're not driving, writing about or working on cars. Since there's more out there than we'd ever be able to cover, here's our daily digest of car stuff on the Web you may not otherwise have heard about. -- KERS, the kinetic-energy-recovery system, was first seen in Formula One a few years back.

The Acura NSX at 25

Fri, 02 May 2014

On Feb. 10, 1989, executives from Honda and a newly founded division known as Acura piled into a conference room in Chicago's historic Drake Hotel to rehearse the unveiling of an unbelievable new car -- a Technicolor vision for the future, something never before built by Honda or any Japanese automaker. As the public relations department went over its lines, Tadashi Kume, then-president of Honda and an instrumental figure in Honda's Formula One efforts, presided.
