Augusta, Georgia, United States
Working pull from a project car. Owner decided he needed bigger brakes after installing a Chevy 350.A little surface rust. I work at an O'Reilley and put the rotors on the lathe and cleaned them up a bit. The minimum thickness is 7.3mm, so there is plenty of meat left on them for the time being. Pads look OK too.I believe these will fit 3rd generation Austin Healy Spryte's and MG's of the same era. What you see is what you get. These are sold AS IS with no returns. I am not a mechanic shop or a junk yard. I do not have any more parts to this car at this time.Good Luck and Happy Bidding!

UK New car sales hit 394,806 in March 2013

Fri, 05 Apr 2013

The latest figures from the SMMT show that new car registrations in the UK in March 2013 hit 394,806, up 5.9 per cent over March 2012. The seemingly inexorable rise in new car registrations in the UK is continuing, with the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) reporting sales in March 2013 up 5.9 per cent on March 2012, with a total of 394,086 cars registered. These figures mean that new car registrations have grown for thirteen consecutive month and are now at their highest level since the Government introduced the Scrappage scheme in 2010 to try and breathe new life in to the market and encourage buyers to opt for low emission cars.

The 2012 Mercedes SLK - the tease begins I know, it’s what all car maker now do; tease the launch of a new car. And we’re probably to be blame. No, not Cars UK specifically, but online Car Magazines in general.

Focus RS plus – the Loder1899

Wed, 28 Oct 2009

The Focus RS by Loder1899 We finally got round to doing a review of the Focus RS last week and came away deeply impressed. The thought of 300bhp through the front wheels seemed like a barking mad idea, but Ford had managed to pull off the seemingly impossible with the adoption of their clever RevoKnuckle system, which tames the torque steer if not completely eradicating it. We did note that it seemed as if the system was good enough to take even more horses than the RS produces, which you can now find out for yourself if you opt for the tuned Focus RS revealed by German tuner Loder1899 (catchy little name).
