The weather wasn’t all it could have been but that didn’t stop the fun at the 2013 instalment of CarFest South at Laverstoke Park Farm near Basingstoke in Hampshire. The annual event organised by DJ, TV presenter and famous car nut Chris Evans ran over three days with a sell-out crowd helping raise money for Children in Need.MSN Cars was on site capturing the best of the cars and the atmosphere. Chevrolet reveals more details of Camaro ZL1

The 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 will not be anywhere near as rare as its 1969 namesake when it arrives during the first quarter of next year, but the most powerful production Camaro to date should deliver performance easily worthy of its model designation. Camaro engineers on Thursday offered media members a preview of the upcoming Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 fighter, and the tale of the tape is impressive, especially in terms of grunt. The 6.2-liter supercharged LSA V8 will make 580 hp at 6,000 rpm and 556 lb-ft of torque at 4,200 rpm, besting Chevy's original targets for the engine's output and bettering its efficiency in the Cadillac CTS-V by 24 hp and 5 lb-ft.

The Vauxhall Cascada – Vauxhall’s new four-seat convertible – will cost from £23,995 and arrives in Vauxhall showrooms in April 2013. Starting at £23,995 for the Cascada SE with the 1.4 litre petrol and rising to £29,115 for the Cascada Elite with a 2.0 litre diesel and auto ‘box, the Cascada certainly offers a lot of full-size convertible for the money. There are just two trim levels available – Cascada SE and Cascada Elite – with the SE coming with 18″ alloys, LED tail lights, DAB, rear parking sensors and USB, The Elite adds in stuff like leather, heated seats, Climate and steering wheel and fog lights.
