Top Reasons you Need a BrakeBuddy®

  • Helps prevent accidents by reducing overall stopping distance by 50% in a panic stop
  • Prevents excessive wear on your motorhome brakes
  • Keeps you safe and legal wherever you travel
  • More units sold than all other units combined with Industry’s Best Warranty BrakeBuddy® Break-Away System brings vehicle to a complete stop when towed vehicle detaches from Motorhome
  • Easily installs in Minutes

The brakes on your motorhome were designed to stop the coach and its contents, but not the added weight of a towed vehicle. This is why states and provinces in North America have passed laws requiring auxiliary brakes for towed vehicles.

The added weight of the towed vehicle will significantly lengthen your stopping distance, which increases the chance of an accident. This extra weight can also cause your motorhome's brakes to overheat, causing brake failure.

BrakeBuddy’s technology provides the right braking force when you need it, along with advanced terrain sensing capabilities. When the motorhome brakes are applied, the BrakeBuddy senses vehicle deceleration and applies the brakes of the dinghy, taking the entire weight of the dinghy vehicle off of the motorhome.

The BrakeBuddy Breakaway System protects your investment and others on the roadway. In the event your towed vehicle separates from the motorhome, the breakaway system will apply the brakes of the towed vehicle, bringing it to a controlled stop. This prevents potential harm to others on the roadway as well as damage to your investment. Most states and provinces require a breakaway system when towing a vehicle.

BrakeBuddy reduces your overall stopping distance and enhances your safety with smooth, controlled stops. Our systems meet and exceed all towing laws, but the real value comes from the safety it gives you.

Seat Leon [w/Gallery]

This is the all-new, third-generation Seat Leon C-segment hatchback. At 4,2600mm long, the 2013 Leon is approximately 50mm shorter than the previous model although the wheelbase has increased by almost 60mm, reducing the length of the overhangs and improving interior space, particularly for rear seat passengers and luggage compartment. Seat's latest design language can be seen in the angular headlamps featuring full LED lamps for the first time in this class.

Next Hyundai Genesis partially revealed in spy shots

Thu, 27 Jun 2013

Thanks to an Autoweek reader, spy shots of the next Hyundai Genesis sedan found their way into our inbox this morning. The big four door was heavily camouflaged at rainy O'Hare Airport, but we can definitely see the winged Genesis logo on the wheels and the interior is Hyundai all the way. The front end looks blockier than the outgoing model, similar to the HCD-14 concept we saw at the Detroit auto show.

Ian Callum’s Jaguar Mark 2 goes in to limited production – costs from £350,000

Ian Callum’s Jaguar Mark 2 goes in to limited production Jaguar designer Ian Callum has worked with Classic Motor Cars Limited (CMC) for more than a year to produce his perfect Jaguar Mark 2, and it’s been so well-received it’s going in to limited production. Still looking like a Jaguar MK II – but with a few modern twists – Ian’s car gets integrated bumpers for a smoother look, louvres on the front wings, a set of split-rim wire wheels, an upgraded 4.3 litre XK engine, five-speed manual ‘box, upgraded suspension and brakes and a new interior. To our eyes, the whole car looks incredibly homogeneous and not at all like the ruination of a classic, and that seems to be the feeling of Jaguar lovers round the world.
