Brand New Custom-built 2JZ-GTE Wiring Harnesses
For 2JZGTE swap into any chassis

These wiring harnesses are built using new wire, new OEM terminals, and new OEM connector housings.  NO CORE HARNESS REQUIRED. Designed for use with the JDM ECU (High impedance injectors, MAP and IAT sensor, no MAF wiring) The only used connectors on the harness are the plugs that connect to the body harness which are taken from original core harnesses. Available for auto or manual transmission (auto is $200 extra), and wired for twin turbos. These custom build-to-order harnesses are available now and can be made to suit any configuration or vehicle.

The harness listed in the auction is a "bare bones" 2JZ engine harness. All of the needed circuits are clearly labeled so that you can wire this harness up into ANY VEHICLE. Using this harness you could install a 2JZGTE engine into anything from an SC300 to an MA70 Supra to a dune buggy.

Because these harnesses are built to your specifications, we can provide for custom applications, such as moving the igniter out of the engine bay for a cleaner look, locating the 02 sensor in a different location, and so on.
The AEM ECU for the 2JZGTE is plug and play for this application. A tach adapter is also available for an additional $125 installed for vehicles using non-turbo gauge clusters. (Non-turbo tachometers will NOT function without a tach adapter).

The pictures are only examples of what you will get, you need to specify your chassis, looming type, and other options.

What is included:
- All new wiring from every EFI sensor and actuator to the ECU
- Shielded cable used on all required circuits (such as the distributor wiring)
- Chassis-related circuits are connected to your chassis plugs (you must provide these in most cases) or are clearly labeled for you to connect (such as check engine light, ignition switch, etc)
- Harnesses are loomed using sleeving and looming making for a better than OEM finish. Our proprietary heat-shrink looming method, for show-car and extreme applications, is also available at an additional cost. The harness can also be left unloomed by your request, or loomed with a different material.
- We can convert this harness to a 100% self-contained application. This means we will add in all of the fuses, fuse holders, relays, and other required circuits so that you only need to connect the battery and the ignition switch and the engine will be ready to run! (Great for sand-rail or race car applications)
- Custom lengths and changes to the wiring, such as wiring in a piggyback engine management system, or using a different EMS altogether!

Core Program:
We have options available if you need this harness wired up to be plug and play to a specific chassis. You may send in your core harness ahead of time to avoid the $300 core charge, or we will refund the core charge to you once you have returned the original engine harness to us. (Please note that core harnesses must be returned within 30 days of receipt of your new harness in order to receive the refund!) If you do NOT have a core harness, simply pay the $300 charge and we'll handle it for you. (Please be sure to specify what year and model your vehicle is).

How to order:
Simply purchase this auction and specify which ECU you are planning on using (part number if possible) along with any specific requests that you may have. Lead time on completion of the harness does vary with our workload. Sometimes our schedule is booked for several weeks. Faster service is available so contact us first if the timeframe is important.

It is important for us to know the following information when you order your harness:

- Year and model of the vehicle
- Was the vehicle originally automatic or manual
- Is the temp sending unit on your engine a round plastic connector or a metal spade terminal
- What type of looming do you want to use (see looming options below)
- What injectors are you using, and are they high or low impedance
- Single turbo or twin turbo
- Old square starter plug or newer round style starter plug
- Do you want a MIL-SPEC firewall connector added ($350), or are you going to use the old rubber grommet
- What ECU or EMS are you planning on using
- What transmission are you going to use
- Do you need a tach adapter wired in, or your gauge cluster modified
- Are you sending in a core harness to make it plug and play to your chassis

Several looming options are available including braided sleeving and extreme-duty heatshrink looming for the ultimate in harness protection and a clean show-car look (custom looming options add an additional one week lead time and cost $180):

Standard looming:

Braided sleeving:

Extreme-duty Heatshrink Looming:

MIL-SPEC Firewall Connector:

The Tweak'd Difference
Or: What makes us better than everyone else!

Superior Knowledge Base

Here at Tweak'd Performance we didn't just jump into building wiring harnesses for some engine swap that we've never even seen. We're gearheads, just like you. We are "the" Toyota engine swap guys. We've been where you are, looking at our own cars with that gleam and that thought, the inspiration of what could be. We've done the swaps, we've experienced the problems, we've found solutions, we've driven the cars. We have designed our engine harnesses and conversions from the ground up to make these swaps go faster, smoother, and have a cleaner, more reliable end result.

Superior Customer Care

You're not just another number when it comes to our commitment to customer service. That's why we have our phones staffed all week long and while we can't always get every incoming call, we return every single voicemail that we receive. We return every email, and we are determined to do it professionally and promptly. Whether you have questions about one of our products, need advice on your engine swap, or you're running into something unexpected with installing your harness and getting your engine started, you can count on Tweak'd Performance to be there. We've got engine swap experts on the line ready to help you troubleshoot any problems, and we support our product 100% of the way, 100% of the time, forever. If you ever have a problem with a Tweak'd Performance harness you can trust that we will help you fix the problem or we will repair it for no charge and cover all shipping charges. Even if you didn't buy the harness from us directly and just got it with your car or your swap, we're here to help!

Superior Design and Production

When we design a new wiring harness, we don't just take a factory setup and replicate it. We've found that in many cases engine harnesses for cars in the US are simply "extended" versions of harnesses from RHD cars. So when it's time to design a harness for your engine swap, we take a fresh look and see all of the improvements that we can make over the factory harness. That means routing the harness so that it's tucked out of the way, making for a cleaner engine bay. It means simplifying overly complicated harnesses and eliminating unused or unneeded circuits for your particular swap. It means using higher quality loom protection where we've seen problem areas on OEM factory harnesses. It means using the highest quality connectors, terminals, and wire. It means offering special upgrades like braided sleeving, extreme duty heatshrink looming, and MIL-SPEC firewall connectors. It's not just a new harness built to factory spec. It's a TWEAK'D harness, redesigned, refined, and perfected for modern, high-end engine swaps.

Superior Quality Control

We don't just build a harness and ship it off. Every harness we build is laid out on our tried-and-true harness jigs to ensure a perfect fit every single time. Every detail is checked to make sure that your wiring harness is built to our standards. We don't ever send a harness to a customer unless we would happily install that on our own engine swap for our personal car. Then not one, but two engine swap experts doublecheck every single terminal, connector, and wire on your harness to make sure every circuit has perfect continuity. While we all know that mistakes aren't impossible, we ship every one of our harnesses with full confidence that you, our customer, will never need to use our unbeatable LIFETIME warranty.

Warranty:
Here at Tweak'd Performance we've been doing plug and play wiring conversions, custom engine harnesses and wire tucks for over 6 years. We pride ourselves in supporting our product for LIFE. If you ever have a problem with any of our wiring work, we'll either help you diagnose and fix the problem over the phone or email, or we will cover shipping both ways and repair it for free!

2014 Subaru WRX STI sets new Isle of Man TT lap record

Thu, 05 Jun 2014

The new Subaru WRX STI set a new Isle of Man TT record lap Last month we reported that rally driver Mark Higgins was heading back to the Isle of Man in an almost standard Subaru WRX STI to have a crack at breaking the record he set on the TT course in 2011 in the last WRX STI. The 2011 lap record Higgins set was the first time the record had been broken in 21 years, a record set by Tony Pond in 1990 in a Rover 827 Vitesse in a stunning drive in a less than ideal car for the task. Mark Higgins, perhaps unsurprisingly, blitzed Tony Pond’s 100mph average speed round the TT course and turned in a time of 19:56.7 at an average speed of 113mph.
