Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Squadra Corse stars at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show

This aggressive slice of supercar is the Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Squadra Corse – making its debut here at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, it could quite possibly be the last current-shape Gallardo variant we’ll ever see. Named after a famous breed of fighting bull (what else?), the Gallardo has been around for a decade now. Tweaks to the chassis, engine and styling over that time have kept it fresh, but could the Squadra Corse be a last hurrah for this Lamborghini?

We revealed back in April that a new version of the MINI JCW GP was on the way, and MINI got round to confirming that in May when the new MINI John Cooper Works GP was officially revealed. Styled at the Korean giant’s European Design Centre in Frankfurt, the estate will be built at a new production plant in the Czech republic. 'Designed and built in Europe for Europeans," as the Koreans are bound to say at its official debut at the Frankfurt motorshow later this year.
