Honda S660 concept stars at the Tokyo Motor Show 2013
Wed, 20 Nov 2013Honda is calling the S660 a concept, but when company president Takanobu Ito took to the stage at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, one of the first things he did was confirm this exciting new small sports car – the spiritual successor to the Honda Beat – will be going into production in 2015. This is great news for Honda, and Ito-san acknowledged a next-generation small sports car has been long awaited by Honda fans, who’ve had little excitement to cheer about since the last Civic Type R and the S2000 roadster were stripped from the model line up. New Renault Twingo revealed – debuts at Geneva
Thu, 13 Feb 2014The new Renault Twingo revealed The new Renault Twingo has been revealed a little earlier than Renault planned with a single group photo of the new Twingo (above) after first images leaked on to the Interwebs, and Renault are promising a proper set of photos later (we’ll update then). The new Twingo takes its cues from the recent Renault Twinz Concept and is underpinned by the same rear-engined, rear-wheel-drive platform as the next generation SMART ForFour. Both the new Twingo and the new ForFour will use the same range of 3-cylinder engines complete with either a manual or dual-clutch auto ‘box, and the Twingo comes with a front end that looks like the rest of the latest Renault range and will be available in both three and five-door options.
