“This is a set of brand new JE forged aluminum pistons for Small Block Chevy engine. These pistons came out of the estate of a long time racer and machine shop owner. I would have never been able to figure out what these were but lucked out and found the spec sheet in the box. I posed a picture of the spec sheet in high resolution so you can zoom in and read it. This is a very nice set of high end pistons for a SBC engine with 18 degree heads. Don't miss them.”

A year ago, we got all excited about Citroen’s Wild Rubis concept. At the time, we said it previewed a forthcoming Citroen DS SUV, so there’s no prizes for guessing what the Citroen DS 6WR is. Making its debut at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show, the DS 6WR was designed in Paris and directly inspired by the Wild Rubis concept car.

The launch of a new Government website for motorists – called www.actonco2.co.uk – has been cancelled just 16 hours before it was to go live. Amazingly, the Department for Transport (DfT) has admitted the eleventh hour delay was because it realised the CO2 data to published wasn’t accurate.

Renault to unveil Alpine-branded concept car at Monaco GP

Renault is set to unveil an Alpine-branded concept car at this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix. The A110-50 – so named to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the oh-so-pretty A110 rally car – is clearly a development of the 2010 DeZir concept car although with only one leaked image to analyze, it's difficult to know by what amount it has changed. Clearly it has been subjected to the addition of a myriad of additional details, surfaces, inlets, outlets and various pieces of racing addenda however that, on the little evidence we have, appear to have added drama to the detriment of the refreshingly non-aggressive nature of the DeZir.
