Infiniti Q30 concept debuts before Frankfurt auto show

Based on new front-drive platform developed by Mercedes-Benz for its A-class family, the Q30 features a slightly raised ride height, sweeping roofline and confident styling, all aimed at winning sales from younger buyers who are predicted to make-up 80 per cent of global luxury car-buyers by 2020. But in the 7 years the IS F has been on sale it’s only managed to shift around 11,000 units, partly because it just didn’t have the dynamics or power of the M3, but also because few yet consider Lexus a ‘Performance’ brand. So the Lexus IS F has now ended production after a less than stellar sales showing, and Lexus are instead pinning their hopes for a credible M3 beater in the new RC F.
Porsche details plan for new headquarters, test track next to Atlanta airport
Thu, 12 May 2011Porsche Cars North America will spend between $80 million and $100 million to build a new headquarters and test-track complex next to Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson airport, the automaker said on Thursday. The site in Hapevlle, Ga., is where the Ford Motor Co. assembly plant that built the Ford Taurus and the Mercury Sable used to stand.
