Apopka, Florida, United States
Condition:New Brand:Hurst Surface Finish:Brushed Aluminum

BRAND NEW HURST T-handle from 1965-66, 3/8" X 24 threads, {standard shifter handle thread size for all the Hurst competition plus shifters}, 45-degree angle, still in ORIGINAL packaging, with instructions and locking nut.  Took handle out of plastic packaging for first time to take photo.  HOW do I know that it has never been un-packaged before now??? Because I bought it, BRAND NEW, back in 1965 to put in my car with a new Hurst shifter, but elected to stick with the Hurst shifter ball instead.  Going through some of my old boxes, I found this T-handle, and now present it for auction. This is a great nostalgia piece for the vintage collector, or to use on a restored or build from the 60's. Please look at photos carefully, and ask any questions BEFORE bidding, as this is a "NO Return" item.  Only accepting bids from the Continental U.S., and only payment method I will accept is through Pay-Pal.

Item will be shipped to any address within the Continental U.S. for a flat fee of $6.80, via USPS  Priority Mail.

Whos Where: Pierre Castinel is Head of Design at Tata

Wed, 02 Apr 2008

Indian automaker Tata has been front page news often in recent times, first because of the impressive one-lakh Nano, which changes the automotive industry playing field, and most recently because of its acquisition of Jaguar and Land Rover from Ford's Premiere Automotive Group for the tidy sum of $2.3 billion - less than half what Ford paid for both companies in 1989.  At the helm of Tata's design efforts is Pierre Castinel, Head of Design. Though only officially announced in March this year, Castinel has been active at Tata since he left Renault in summer 2007, a company he worked at for 20 years. Castinel started as a modeler for Peugeot and worked there for three years.
