Brian Crower Stage 2 Camshafts Subaru Sti 2004-2007 on 2040-parts.com
San Angelo, Texas, US
A series of low-volume versions with even greater power and grip were built by Subaru's in-house modifier, Subaru Tecnica International (STi). STi versions of the Impreza, which produced 280 PS (206 kW) from new, are often raced, largely unmodified, in the Group N class in various rally championships to great success. Introduced in 1994, the STi has proven to be a very popular high-performance machine in the Japanese domestic market. Introduced to the United States in 2004, the US model STi features the larger displacement 2.5L (EJ257) that features AVCS.
The Brian Crower Stage 2 Street/Strip Specification Cams for the 04-07 STI EJ257 are Plug and play application. Short duration for nice street manners, slight lope at idle. Excellent all purpose cars and daily drivers. The stock springs and retainers can be used but the BC spring and retainer kit is recommended.
Specs: Adv. Duration: 272/272; Duration at .050: 222/222; Lift: .400/.400(in) 10.16/10.16(mm)
Note: Intake camshafts are setup for AVCS operation. The above cams WILL WORK with AVCS. If running non AVCS setup is desired, you must install the four set screws (located in a plastic bag attached to the cam bag) in the front of each intake cam (dowel pin side) using a 2.5mm Allen wrench and LocTite. This will not allow oil to actuate the Active Valve Control System. These cams do not fit the 2008-up STi with dual AVCS.

The result, believe the engines, is a duo that’s without rival on the market – no other four-seat coupe or five-seat saloon offers this much high performance sports car ability for the money.
