This engine was purchased for a project about 10 years ago and never used – carburetor was a lightly used carb that was put on finger tight but never fired with this carb – carb had some fuel that is now gummy from sitting – carb will need a full rebuild – inside of engine is perfect with only assembly oil in the bottom of the case as shown – outside of engine shows it has been sitting for 10 years with some light surface corrosion on the crank shaft and some of the other outer surfaces as shown – minor nicks and scratches from handling - top warning sticker is peeled up on one side from sitting as well - turns over nicely like it should with no problems

Subaru XV gets a price cut – down by £1300 on 1.6 litre versions

Sat, 18 May 2013

It wasn’t a bad starting point for an able mid-sized crossover – a high-riding Impreza, in all but name –  but it wasn’t the cheapest offering in the class. But now, with the Yen being a bit kinder to Japanese car makers, Subaru has decided to nudge the price a bit lower to start the XV range off below £20k for the first time. The price drop for the XV only applies to the 1.6 litre petrol versions, but you can now get the entry-level XV 1.6i S for a more affordable £19,995 rising to £23,415 for the XV 1.6i SE with the Lineartronic gearbox, reductions across the range of £1300.

The Office of Fair Trading has confirmed that these fake sites exceed the standard DVLA costs for booking a driving theory or practical test – priced at £31 and £62 respectively – but that the independently run services are not actually illegal. On Bing: see pictures of the driving test MSN Cars learner drivers guide Preying on less experienced learner drivers looking to put in for their test, these sites generally appear as sponsored links resulting from an internet search.

Just as many other car makers are doing, Volvo has had a small fleet of electric test cars plodding round the roads to see what they’re capable of in the real world, in Volvo’s case a fleet of electric C30s. But Volvo has decided that a production version of the C30 EV is a futile project and has revealed they will not be making a production version.
