This is a British Army COOKER, PORTABLE, No. 2, Mk 1, as used on the Daimler Ferret and other British armored fighting vehicles. These were used on the Daimler Ferret Armored Cars and many others. No dents or dings, this cooker is NEW and the funnel and spare jets are still in their plastic wrappings and includes all the tools. Never been used at all, has very minor shelf storage wear but that's all.

This is a British Army COOKER, PORTABLE, No. 2, Mk 1, as used on the Daimler Ferret and other British armored fighting vehicles.  If you look at your Ferret User Manual in the CES section, this is item is shown, listed as No. 6.  I have enclosed a scan of the user manual showing this.  No dents or dings, this cooker is NEW and the funnel and spare jets are still in their plastic wrappings and includes all the tools.  Never been used at all, has very minor shelf storage wear but that's all.  You won't find a better on on eBay!  These are pretty hard to come by, especially in this *NEW*condition.  I had two of them and I've sold one earlier, this is the last one I have.   This cooker is perfectly serviceable and ready to fire up needs only to find a happy home on your British military vehicle.

British Motor Show Axed

The British Motor Show - Cancelled for 2010, and probably permanently Well, I suppose it’s not really a great surprise, but it’s still sad to see the demise of the British Motor Show. The SMMT (organisers of the British Motor Show) announced this lunchtime that the 2010 show has been cancelled. They stated that this was due to the crisis in the car industry at present and the ongoing world financial crisis.

The new VW Golf R (pictured) costs from £29,900 The best of the MK 7 Golfs – the new Golf R – arrived back in August ahead of its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show, with Volkswagen telling us it would go on sale in early 2014. But it’s actually on sale now, a few weeks early. At £29,900 (for the 3-door with 6-speed manual), the Golf R is a sensible price ( at least in comparison to VW’s truly silly price for the MK 6 Golf R Cabrio – which they subsequently dropped by more than £5k) and undercuts the similar Audi S3.
