Toyota FT-86: Now standard FT-86 leaks

Sat, 29 Oct 2011

The Toyota FT-86 leaks again - this time the standard model After what seems like years of waiting for Toyota’s sporty and ‘affordable’ sports car – the Toyota FT-86 – to arrive, information is coming thick and fast as the official debut looms at the Toyota Motor Show in a month’s time. Just a few days ago we had pictures of the Toyota FT-86 with Modellista extras, which gave us the clearest look yet at what the new FT-86 in production guise will offer. And now we get what appears to be a standard Toyota FT-86 from another Japanese brochure leak.

Lamborghini Aventador drives record Lamborghini sales in 2013

Wed, 12 Mar 2014

Record Aventador sales drive Lamborghini’s turnover It would not have been unreasonable to think that Lamborghini’s turnover for 2013 would be less than 2012, especially as the Gallardo was about to be consigned to the history books to make way for the Huracan. But nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, despite the Gallardo’s demise at the end of 2013, Lamborghini managed to increase its turnover in 2013 to €508 million – up €39 million on 2012 – and break records for V12 sales in the process.

How to buy a secondhand Ferrari 456

Fri, 10 Apr 2009

By Chris Chilton Motoring Issues 10 April 2009 10:00 The value of Ferrari’s big 2+2s have always gone down the tubes like used toilet roll, but not all have looked as beautiful as the 456, whose Pininfarina lines so cleverly disguise the car’s practicality. It can’t quite match a 612 for rear space but the back seats aren’t the joke you might expect and the ride quality is great – perfect for that imaginary trip to the south of France. Mike Wheeler of Surrey-based Rardley Motors (www.rardleymotors.co.uk) reckons he shifts more 456s than anyone else in the country and says the big coupés make real sense, but only if you service them at independents.
