VW planning Juke competitor Volkswagen has revealed they are planning a compact SUV / Crossover to sit below the Tiguan. Just last week Volkswagen revealed the Cross Coupe, a compact hybrid SUV, smaller than a Tiguan but bigger than a Golf. And now VW design boss Walter de Silva has revealed VW are planning a sub-compact SUV.

White Van Man numbers booming

THE ADVANCE of White Van Man is accelerating, according to figures highlighted by the RAC Foundation. Between 2002 and 2012 the number of light vans on the roads increased by 29% to 3.3 million. During the same period, the increase in cars was 11%, with one in 10 vehicles on the roads now a light commercial vehicle.

Cyclists 'a pretty special bunch'

A study for the British Heart Foundation (BHF) found that sportsmen and women generally were more attractive than celebrities, with most qualities attributed to cyclists. The survey of 600 adults also showed that two thirds admitted to liking lycra.
