- This is for a piston pulled from a 2002 Prairie 650. The piston has a broken skirt/is junk but the wrist pin is usable and cir clips(c-clips) are both there.
- CONDITION/FUNCTION: The piston is junk but rings might be useable but that is up to buyer if they want to try rings,I can guarantee top 2 rings will make compression but dont know if it would be worth risking the oil ring. The asking price is for the usable wrist pin and clips. As far as pin condition has some scuffs as seen/no deep grooves or gouges.

Wed, 23 Jun 2010Alfa Romeo turns 100 on June 24, and the Capital Chapter of the Alfa Romeo Owners Club (AROC) is celebrating the famed Milanese maker's centennial with a weeklong series of festivities called “Alfa Century 2010.” Centennial celebrations take place June 21-27 in numerous locations throughout the world including in Milan, at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and during the Monterey weekend. But the Washington, D.C.-based AROC Capital Chapter's birthday bash represents the largest Alfa-exclusive commemoration in the United States. Chapter president Harlan Hadley said he expects a terrific turnout of Alfa Romeos from all eras of “Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili” (A.L.F.A.) history.
RCA team helps develop all-electric London taxi proposal
Fri, 17 Jan 2014The Royal College of Art's Vehicle Design program and the Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design have collaboratedwith Turkish car manufacturer Karsan to develop a proposal for the first all-electric London taxi. An RCA team – co-led by Professor Dale Harrow and the Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design's deputy director Rama Gheerawo – has been working with Karsan and its consultancy Hexagon Studio for over a year and to develop a public transport vehicle to suit Londoners of all ages and abilities. The team analyzed a current London taxi in a ‘co-creation workshop' and conducted interviews with taxi drivers, which showed many are over 65 and frequently spend the entire working day inside their cabs.
