This was a Pro Stock drag racing crankshaft with little use.

Excellent Condition. Sizes as followed below:

MAINS: 2.4975-2.4890 O.D. (just under 318/340 spec size of 2.4995-2.5005)

Thrust is located on middle journal and is 1.160" wide

RODS: 1.9980 O.D. and 1.915" wide

SNOUT: Gear surface towards middle of crank is 1.5640 OD and .850 long or wide. . . End of snout is 1.5315 OD and 1.600 long or wide

REAR SEAL: 4.243 OD and 1.350 long or wide 

STROKE: 3.630

WEIGHT: 56 lbs.

Unveiled at BMW Welt in Munich, it signals BMW's return to the DTM after a two-decade absence; between 1987 and 1992, the BMW M3 won 40 races and had over 150 podium finishes in Germany's premier tin-top series. Half of all used cars go wrong ‘within a month’

With over seven million secondhand cars purchased in 2012, you’d expect one or two to develop a problem soon after purchase. But rather shockingly, as many as half of all used cars sold develop faults within a month of changing hands. That’s according to a report by the Citizens Advice Bureau, which helped with over 84,000 problems with secondhand motors in the past 12 months.

The video provides a quick glimpse of three eerily quiet sedans, but not much more. Scintillating it's not, but it's nice to see the Model S Alpha sedan getting closer to production.
