Bsa M20 Oil Tank on 2040-parts.com

Location:

Kent, Ohio, United States

Kent, Ohio, United States
Condition:Used Brand:BSA

This is a used tank, not a reproduction. It is not perfect but it is real and really nice. The tank itself has few minor dings but no significant dents. Please look at the pictures. All threads- oil feed and return pipe junctions and mounting bosses are very good. No evidence of crossthreading, cracks or stripping.

One picture shows the tank mostly stripped of grunge and the rest show it with a coat of Rustoleum. There is no filler or bondo on this tank.

You will want to wash out the tank, buy a new filter and paint it appropriately before use.  With a little more effort you might easily make it perfect.

The cap is etched by corrosion on the outside but has plenty of meat, grips the filler neck well and should be oil tight with a new gasket.

You are responsible for knowing if this part fits your needs but I will measure, inspect and photograph to help you make a good choice.

By Liz Turner Motor Shows 20 March 2008 11:10 Pontiac is going to have a tough time trying to stop its 2010 Sport Truck being called the El Camino. From the B-pillar forward its Pontiac G8, but on the back there’s a 6ft pick-up bed and the suspension has been beefed up to the take the expected loads and tows. Under the bonnet is the same 6.0-litre V8 used in the G8 GT, delivering 361bhp and 385lb ft, but Active Fuel Management and a six-box auto ‘box should keep the as-yet unstated fuel economy affordable.
