Used 1959 Buick Lesabre power steering components. Pretty much all the major parts to convert from manual steering to power. Removed from long time inoperable parts car, so functioning condition is unknown. Expect to have to rebuild most if not all components. System did have fluid in it when I removed it, though pump was a bit low. Box turns smoothly and rag joint is good. Lower pulley is marginal, has some pitting in grooves. Upper pulley is junk, will need to be replaced (it had already been removed and was sitting in the dirt under the car so it didn't fare very well). I'm including it as it is a one-year-only pulley and could be handy to match it up to its replacement. Also included is the centerlink, which my Buick parts book shows as having a different part number than a manual steering unit. Not sure why, so it's included.

Mini Moke makes its comeback

Wed, 09 Oct 2013

Moke International It wouldn't be entirely fair to put the Mini Moke into the 'so bad it's good' category, but the fact remains, the Moke wasn't that great. And yet, despite its tepid performance, questionable off-road ability and tendency to rust, it was a runaway success. And let's face it, the Mini Moke remains one of the coolest cars ever created.

Hyundai i40 Tourer - starts at £18,395 Yes, it’s the long-awaited prices for the Hyundai 140 Estate – or the trendy ‘Hyundai i40 Tourer‘ which Hyundai prefers – which is to be the first i40 to hit UK showrooms, ahead of the i40 saloon which we won’t see until early next year. Not surprisingly, Hyundai has undercut both Ford’s Mondeo and Vauxhall’s Insignia with its entry-level i40 Tourer 1.6 GDi Blue Drive which comes in £500 less than the Ford and £1k less than the Vauxhall and offers the lowest BIK in its class. That’ll help.
