Condition:Used

Used 1964-1965 Buick 225 V6 and 300 V8 timing chain cover. Jet washed, glass beaded and squirted on the outside with some cast aluminum paint. No cracks or breaks. All threaded holes good. Super nice oil pump gear pocket. Some pitting on gasket surfaces. Driver side water passage to block may need a skim coat of 2-part epoxy or some good sealer that hardens when installing. Some lighter pitting on water pump surface and on passenger side water passage to block. These I think will be o.k. with just some normal use of sealer. Top of cover has a pitted area next to distributor opening. This is cosmetic only and doesn't effect the function of this cover. Threaded hole for distributor hold down is fine. I think some coolant pooled here for a long time and ate away at the surface metal. Please look at all my pictures closely as they best show the condition of this part. $15.50 usps priority mail shipping in the US lower 48 states, elsewhere contact me for cost if not shown in the calculator.

Fri, 18 Oct 2013

Ferrari's latest video in its ‘Discover the technology of Formula 1' YouTube series sees Scuderia Ferrari's deputy design chief Simone Resta focusing on the chassis and side pods' design and its effect on the aerodynamics. This video follows two episodes, the first of which introduced viewers to the concept of aerodynamics – which is the subject of the series' first part – while the second took a look at the design and effect of the car's front wing and nose. The great thing about this series is you don't have to be a genius – or even know your way around an F1 car – to get to grips with the concepts or terminology.
