Here is a beautiful AM FM Multiplex Buick Radio with external amplifier.  It came out of a 1970 Buick Riviera, but should be correct for any Buick starting in 1969 and possibly running through 1972.  I bench tested it with two used speakers and it played loud and clear on the rear speaker only.  It may have been that one of my speakers was bad.  The chrome knobs are in excellent condition as is the rest of the chrome.  The AM and FM faces are clear and bright and the slide lever changes from AM to FM perfectly rolling over the dial as it should.   The push buttons all work nicely and change the setting as they should.   How often do you see one of these complete radios in working condition?

Meet the Jaguar/Land Rover smartphone

Fri, 10 Jan 2014

Jaguar Land Rover has announced a whole new host of apps that'll be available in vehicles by both brands later this year via the InControl smartphone integration system. With the help of Bosch and a number of third-party app developers, Jaguar and Land Rover will debut integrated in-vehicle app connectivity for phones with the Android operating system, as well as for Apple's iOS. Jaguar Land Rover is the latest company to bring apps to cars' infotainment systems, an innovation that will either greatly reduce distracted driving and make crucial information much more easily accessible or cause drivers to completely ignore the act of driving altogether.
