From dry New Mexico in shiny decent user condition
Brand:Guide Country/Region of Manufacture:United States Warranty:No

This is a OEM Guide Glare Proof Mirror, it has a small piece of masking tape on the glass marked Buick.  I looked at Buick ones like this on the internet and they stated 1950-1953 so that is what I am assuming this is for, check your application.  This is from dry storage in my shed in dry New Mexico.  This came from a repair garage that I bought out in the mid 1970s that had been in business since the 1930s in dry southern New Mexico.  This is bright, shiny and reflective as can be seen in the pictures.  However, it is driver quality since it does have some bumps/pin pricks on it and the mirror glass need replacing.  The good thing about the glass is that this snaps right apart easily (see last photo, held together with tabs) and any glass shop can cut you a new double weight mirror glass cheaply. Please look closely at the photos, the bright reflective surface and camera flash tends to wash out some of the small imperfections in the pictures (I have tried to show them in close-ups).   The connector to the mirror head is tight with no apparent wear and swivels like it should.  The Glare Proof operator on the bottom works positively with correct snap action and no wear I can feel.  All in all a pretty nice driver quality mirror that can go right on a vehicle.  I just need to pass it on to someone who can use it so NO RESERVE sold as is.  Buyer pays actual shipping cost with no handling charges and I will combine shipping when possible.  Please email any questions or comments.  Thanks for looking

Renault axe Espace, Kangoo, Laguna, Modus & Wind in UK

Tue, 20 Dec 2011

Renault Wind Gordini - just arrived, now it's gone Renault is axing the Espace, Kangoo, Laguna, Modus & Wind models in the UK in a drive to restore profitability. In an age when we’re use to car makers extending their ranges on an almost daily basis, Renault are going the opposite way by cutting four models from their range of cars in the UK. Out will go the Wind Roadster, the Espace, the Modus, the Kangoo and even the car that most would think of as one of Renault’s best selling models – the Laguna.

Range Rover Evoque Convertible NOT going in to production. Thankfully.

Sun, 07 Apr 2013

It seems Land Rover is having second thoughts about making the Range Rover Evoque Convertible – shown at Geneva 2012 – in to a production model. But the one model we really couldn’t find a lot of positives in was the Range Rover Evoque Convertible – which arrived as a concept at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show – looking like the ultimate statement of Chav central for Tango’d ‘Ladies’ who lunch, from Brentwood via Surrey and up to Cheshire. We understood Land Rover’s impetus – they thought there’d be a market for a drop-top Evoque – but it really was a step too far for Land Rover to go.
