Lexus LF-NX Concept Compact SUV/Crossover makes a statement: Frankfurt 2013
Thu, 12 Sep 2013The Lexus LF-NX SUV/Crossover Concept (pictured) arrives at Frankfurt We actually saw the first photos of the Lexus LF-NX – a more compact SUV/Crossover Concept – in the run-up to the Frankfurt Motor Show, and it certainly looked dramatic. New Ford KA Concept revealed
Wed, 13 Nov 2013New Ford KA Concept revealed The current Ford KA really hasn’t been an overwhelming success for Ford – unlike the original KA – and there was a point where Ford were considering scrapping the KA altogether. But common sense has prevailed in a car buying world that is seeing more and more downsizing, so Ford is planning a new KA – expected to arrive for the 2015 model year – but, unlike the current KA, it won’t be a shared venture with the Fiat 500. Instead, it seems Ford are planning on using the previous generation Fiesta platform to underpin the new KA and offer a proper Ford city car rather than a second-rate Fiat 500.
Commute times increasing
Fri, 15 Nov 2013COMMUTING times are starting to creep up after falling back during the recession, a new study has shown. Research by the TUC union revealed that men in their early 40s spend longest getting to and from work, at an average of more than 67 minutes a day. Commute times for women peak in their late 20s at 54 minutes and then start to fall as they get older, said the report.
