SHEET METAL BRAKE - MACHINE SHOP TOOL
FIVE DIFFERENT ONES
PLANS ON CD

The photo montage above is a stock photo
and contains graphics not on the CD.

This CD contains plans/diagrams to build five (5) different sheet-metal brakes.

For those that don't know, a 'sheet metal brake' is a tool for bending flat pieces of sheet-metal. This is done during the process of fabricating parts/panels for that project you are building. This can be used in conjunction with building ultralight planes, or even repairing car bodies (as in 'build your own quarter-panel'!).

Note: Adobe Acrobat Reader or equivalent PDF reader is required. If you do not already have a PDF File Reader on your computer, you can download any number of different ones on the Internet for free, and free to use.

The devices, known as event data recorders, are similar to the black boxes on airliners and record information such as vehicle and engine speed in the seconds before a crash.

It's the season of the hill climb, those few months of the year when even the tallest mountains shed their snowcaps and open up for all manner of driver and race car. There's the Spectre 341 Challenge in Nevada, Pikes Peak in Colorado and the Mt. Washington Hill Climb in New Hampshire, which just had its 13-year-old record smashed by Subaru Rally Team driver David Higgins.

Ferrari 599 successor to debut at Geneva show

Mon, 20 Feb 2012

Ferrari has confirmed that the follow-up to the 599 Fiorano will debut at the Geneva motor show next month. The latest in Ferrari's long line of front-engine V12 GT cars, which stretches back to the 166 Inter of 1948, it's rumored to boast in the neighborhood of 700 hp. That's roughly double the power of the 365 GTB/4 pictured above, which Dan Gurney and Brock Yates famously used to cross the country in 35 hours and 54 minutes back in 1971.
