Ford reveals ultra-eco Focus EcoBoost

Ford has revealed Europe’s first petrol-powered five-door family car to dip beneath the 100g/km CO2 mark with the launch of a 99g/km CO2 Focus EcoBoost. The new 100hp 1.0-litre variant will launch next year and, at 67.5mpg, become its most fuel-efficient petrol-engined family car ever. 'Grand Bentley' preview (Video)

Bentley is teasing us with a preview video of its forthcoming 'Grand Bentley', which shows only sections of the car's flowing shoulder, hood and grille. The all-new new car, which will debut at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance this summer, is claimed to be 'exceptional in all respects on the road' as well as 'the purest expression of the Bentley spirit'. It has been designed, engineered and built in Crewe, England and will be the replacement for the aging Arnage.

NEVS completes Saab purchase

National Electric Vehicle Sweden AB (NEVS) has completed the purchase of the assets of Saab, but can’t use the Griffin logo. It looks like the Chinese, Japanese, Swedish Consortium NEVS has finally completed the process of acquiring the assets of bankrupt Saab, but it hasn’t quite got all it wanted. We reported last week that the process of acquiring Saab had been delayed as there were still issues over the rights to the Saab log, a logo owned by Scania and Saab Aerospace.
