I listed this Bultaco Mercurio tank a few months ago in bare metal. I thought that the small hammer dents leftover from the craftsman who made it were cool, but it didn't sell. I spend a lot of time filling the dents and grooves and allowing the filler material to shrink before I started painting. I primered and sanded three times before starting with the paint. I laid down one layer and waited three days before sanding. I repeated the process 12 times before I switched to 600 grit sandpaper and then to rubbing compound.

- Payment must be made within 3 days of the end of auction unless other arrangements have been made
- If payment has not been made after 3 days, I reserve the right to cancel the transaction and re-list and a case will be filed with Ebay for non-payment
- USPS has recently added free insurance for items $50 and under if shipped via Priority mail. Please let me know if you would like this option
- Item will be shipped immediately after payment is received
- If payment is received by noon Pacific, I can almost always get it shipped that day

CCS launches MFA degree programs
Fri, 30 Jan 2009The College for Creative Studies in Michigan, USA, is set to launch new Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree programs in Design and Transportation Design. The new courses, which launch in Fall 2009, will give students a broad scope of skills and experience in 2D and 3D design, and will include a basic study in business that will take place at the University of Michigan's respected Stephen M Ross School of Business. CCS says that this will equip graduates with the tools required to implement concepts and make strategic decisions - increasingly important parts of a 21st century car designer's skillset.
Flood-damaged car 'bought' by 12-year-old
Fri, 21 Mar 2014A SUBMERGED CAR that was abandoned because of flooding on the Somerset Levels and put on eBay has sold for more than £100,000. The unnamed bidder paid £101,100 on the online auction site to buy the Seat Toledo after it was put up for sale by owner Hubert Zajaczkowski, 21. Mr Zajaczkowski planned to donate the cash to a charity helping the victims of flooding in Somerset.
Lotus chief exec Dany Bahar suspended: what's next?
Mon, 28 May 2012Group Lotus chief Dany Bahar has been suspended while complaints about his conduct are carried out by parent company DRB Hicom. Weekend newspapers reported that the dispute was over expenses for building work carried out on one of Bahar's homes. Bahar was suspended on Friday and the new owners stressed that Lotus Cars continued to run in his absence.
